Tasting - Turning Leaf Pinot Noir

Name: Turning Leaf Pinot Noir
Variety: Pinot Noir
Region: California
Country: USA
Year: NV
Price: $6

Winery Review: Medium-bodied with aromas of cherry and sweet fruit flavors with a smooth and light finish. Rotisserie chicken salad, roasted portabella mushrooms, cheese pizza, spicy tuna roll

My Review: It had an earthy smell with the typical black fruit smell especially blackberries and currants with raspberries. The taste was slightly tannic which added a nice quality to the wine. The fruits I tasted were black fruits and cherries. It is nice on the palate and it has a short finish. Pretty good wine especially for the value. If I am looking for a cheap Pinot that won't break the bank then this is it.
