Winery Review: Dressed in a beautiful medium golden color, characteristic of this variety, this Viognier exhibits sweet fruity aromas of apricots, citrus and peaches, combined with pleasant oak notes. Fresh and lively in mouth, this wine, with concentrated stone fruit flavors, is fresh, tasty, full and savoury. Of great character, density and structure, with a good acidity level and great persistence.
My Review: The smell caught me off guard with how fruity it was. I got hints of pear, melon, apricot, and peach. The taste was actually a bit different. I got some melon and quite a bit citrus. Orange was actually the dominating flavor I detected here. It tasted nice on the palate with a long finish. It was a solid Viognier and definitely a great entry point into this particular varietal.
