Country: USA
Year: 2015
Price: $12.50 / 6 pack

Brewery Review: Dark & delicious, America’s great milk stout will change your perception about what a stout can be. Pouring hard out of the bottle, Milk Stout Nitro cascades beautifully, building a tight, thick head like hard whipped cream. The aroma is of brown sugar and vanilla cream, with hints of roasted coffee. The pillowy head coats your upper lip and its creaminess entices your palate. Initial roasty, mocha flavors rise up, with slight hop & roast bitterness in the finish. The rest is pure bliss of milk chocolate fullness.

My Review: Forms a nice brownish head when poured hard. The smell is bitter like coffee and chocolate and kind of nutty. Very nice aroma. The taste is like roasted nuts and is bitter in a good way. The foam provides another taste giving it a steamed milk quality, creamy. It finishes nicely like coffee. It drinks like a meal. Definitely one of the best beers I've had.
