My Review:
This was fantastic. It had a strong smell with hints of caramel, apple, and an industrial smell. The taste was of red fruit mainly apple with caramel. This wine was super smooth and silky with a short finish. I was really impressed with this wine.

My Review:
This was a very good Merlot. It was very aromatic. The nose was of dark fruit: blackberries, raspberries, plum, and slight blueberry. There was a hint of oakiness. The taste was fruity specifically blueberries and raspberries. It was a smooth wine with a short finish.

My Review:
This was an interesting wine considering the Merlot was paired with a few lesser known grapes. It was very aromatic and fruity with notes of dark fruit and raspberries and a hint of butter. The taste was of black currants, blackberries, and raspberries. It was a fairly tannic wine with a short finish.

Winery Review: Very typical, red fruit, red and black cherries, strawberries, blackberries. Slightly herbaceous hints. On the palate freshness and softness in good balance. A direct and simple wine that you drink with great pleasure, flawless, really good.


My Review:
This is Merlot done right. The nose is very pungent and fruity with hints of cake icing and dark berries specifically black currant. The taste was of berries specifically blueberries and raspberries. The wine was light and hot and had a long finish.

Winery Review: The palate is very fresh, hot enough. Not too soft, it fat. From which a feeling of more austere wine, but also more veracity. It lingering fresh fruit and citrus. Slight feeling of CO2.


My Review:
This was a nice wine and good entry to Ticino whites. It is an unfiltered wine. The nose was fruity and filled with passion fruit and pineapple. The taste was also pretty fruity with tropical fruit being predominate. It was very smooth on the finish and short.

My Review:
This wine was very aromatic. It was very fruity and oaky with hints of red fruit and blueberries. The taste was of red fruit specifically raspberries and vanilla. It was hot and tannic with a short finish. It was my overall favorite from the Vini Rovio tasting. The oaking added something much needed to the Merlot.

My Review:
It has a very pungent aroma. It is very fruity on the nose with hints of blueberries and raspberries. The taste was very similar with more blueberries and raspberries. It was a light wine with a smooth, short finish. It was a bit hot. I wasn’t overly impressed with this wine but it wasn’t disappointing either.

My Review:
It has a pungent, aromatic nose. It has fruity notes especially stone fruit and honey. The taste is sweet mainly of peach and honey. It has a silky mouthfeel with a long finish. It is smooth and sort of hot. I liked this wine the best out of the white wines offered at the Vini Rovio tasting.

My Review:
The first whiff is of butter with a hint of fruit and citrus but mostly floral notes. The taste is fruity with hints of apricot and honey. It has a silky mouthfeel with a long finish. It is smooth through and through. This was an interesting wine. I have never heard of the grapes involved in this wine. It was also grown using organic techniques in the vineyard. This wine is pretty good all things considered.

My Review:
This wine was pretty fruity on the nose. I got hints of stone fruit and passion fruit. The taste was similar with more stone fruit specifically peach and apricot. It had a buttery taste to it as well. It was sort of sweet. It had a short finish and wasn’t over the top bubbly. This was a decent wine.
