Tasting - AmRhein Petit Manseng

Name: AmRhein Petit Manseng
Variety: 100% Petit Manseng
Region: Virginia
Country: USA
Year: 2014
Price: $15

Winery Review: This varietal showcases creamy apricot with rich fruit flavors of apple, pear, and citrus.  A spirited wine with a gentle sweetness balances nicely in the glass.

My Review:
This is another varietal that Virginia does well. This wine had a lot of things going for it. The nose was fruity. The taste had many flavors working together. I got apricot and pear right off the bat with a bit of an underlying citrus. They were well balanced. There was some acidity there but it worked. This wine finished smooth.
