Winery Review: One of the most popular red wines of Northern Italy, Barbera is elegantly earthy, with raspberry, chocolate and plum notes. Medium bodied with well integrated tannins and lively acidity.
My Review: The Barbera has an earthy smell with chocolate and plum coming through. The taste was of raspberries with light chocolate on the back palate. It had a short finish. This was an amazing wine and I was thoroughly pleased with this wine. I was left wanting more. It had a nice body with a nice tannin structure.
